We also learned over the weekend that some of
the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an
organization asking for the same deal that the September 11
families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families
of those bombed in the
embassies are now asking for compensation as well.
You see where this is going, don't you? Folks, this is part and
parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country.
It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the
military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now
the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their
families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent
housing . Make sense?
However, our own US Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of
you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to
receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most
are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive
Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay
into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20
years and get out as an
E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the
very people who
placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per
month.
I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and
join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering
pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting .

Drinking the Kool Aid

I'm
beginning to understand how truly bad our
educational system is. All the
indicators are there, history has shown us,
and current events around the globe are
screaming at us to stop our plunge into the
depths of socialism. Very few people
seem to understand what Obama is doing to
this country as is evident by his high
approval ratings. Of course there are
also the people who are sitting back
wringing their hands saying, "I wish someone
would do something". Thomas Jefferson
once said, "The worst thing that we can do
is nothing." I am continually amazed
at the foresight that our founding fathers
had when they established our Republic.
That wisdom seems to be lost to us.
Probably because we have taken our freedoms
for granted for so long that we don't
understand what it is like NOT to be free.
We don't think that it can happen here.
Not in the USA! Yet we are traveling
the road to tyranny without so much as a
second thought.
If you think free speech can't be taken
away, just look at how angry and hateful the
liberals get when you say anything that
doesn't follow their beliefs. They
want to shut you up any way they can, and
who do you think is in control of this
country right now? Those very same
liberals. I've lost count of how many
times this website has been attacked.
If you think freedom of religion isn't
under attack. Then why can't we pray
in school? Faith in God is the very
essence of our freedoms, our "God given
rights" that established this country to
begin with. The non believers have
taken separation of church and state to the
extreme and we have let them.
The terrorist don't have to attack.
The Obama crowd is doing far more damage
from within than they could ever achieve
themselves. I never thought that this
country couldn't survive four year with
anyone being President, but Obama has done
more damage in four months than I ever
thought possible. All in the guise of
"saving" us. Why do you think that the
oath of office for all government officials
include "enemies both foreign and domestic".
With so much damage done it's easy to think
that there is a conspiracy, an evil plot to
destroy America. The kooks come out
then everyone who disagrees with Obama is
labeled an extremist. I am a
conservative, white male, mid fifties, a
veteran, believe in God, free speech, and
the right to bear arms. I fit all the
"new" categories for a domestic terrorist.
All because I love my country and want it to
remain free.
So many have asked me, "What can I do?"
The answer is easy. Just get involved!
Tell people about this website. Get
involved with your city, county, state, and
federal governments. VOTE! Get
involved with the party of your choice.
SPEAK OUT! Let your voice be heard.
Save our Country! YOU are the
only one who can.
The Battle on Healthcare is now in the Senate. We
urge you to contact your senator an voice your opinion
against this bill!
Keep calling your Senators and Congressmen and let them know that WE DON'T
WANT THIS BILL TO PASS. It
needs to be scrapped and
no other bill should be introduced that
does not require CONGRESS to use the
same healthcare plan as the rest of us.
No grandfather
clauses, No more elitism! Maybe
then, real healthcare reform will occur. But above all...they MUST read the bill

POLITICIANS ON SOCIAL SECURITY ---------------------------------- SOCIAL SECURITY:
Perhaps we are asking the wrong
questions during election years.
Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social
Security and, of course, they do not collect from it.
You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for
persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt
they should have a special plan for themselves. So, many
years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. In
more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need
to change it. After all, it is a great plan. For
all practical purposes their plan works like this:
When they retire, they
continue to draw the same pay until they die.
Except it may increase from time to time for cost of
living adjustments...
For example, Senator Byrd
and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw
$7, 800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred
Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275,
000..00 during the last years of their lives. This
is calculated on an average life span for each of those
two Dignitaries.
Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will
receive much more during the rest of their lives.
Their cost for this excellent plan is
$0.00. NADA!!! ZILCH!!!
This little perk they voted for themselves is free to
them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds
for this fine retirement plan come directly from the
General Funds;
Now there is a law that requires company owners to offer
the same healthcare to their workers as they have.
Is congress above the laws that they themselves passed?
"OUR TAX
DOLLARS AT WORK"!
From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I
pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire
(which amount is matched by our employer), We can expect
to get an average of
$1,000 per month after retirement.
Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average
of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1)
month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits!
Social Security could be very good if only one small
change were made.
That change would be to
Jerk the Golden
Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and
Congressmen.. Put them into the Social Security plan
with the rest of us
Then sit back....... And see how fast
they would fix it! This little "perk" would
pay for half of fixing Social Security.
Hey... and no grandfather clauses to let the Senators
and Congressmen who have already retired, continue to
receive this perk!
If enough people see this, maybe a seed of awareness
will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

The President Without a Country

Thinking about these and
other statements made by the man who wears the title of
president. I keep wondering what country he believes
he's president of.
In one of my very favorite
stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a
Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan
stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary
War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When
the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before
sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims,
"Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of
the United States again!"
The stunned silence in the
courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the
judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have
just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear
of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the
rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this
country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no
one will ever speak to you again about the country you
have just cursed."
And so it was. Philip Nolan
was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never
hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue
about America. The last few pages of the story,
recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom -
now turned into a shrine to the country he fore swore -
never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love
for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed
and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.
But reading and hearing the
audacious, shocking statements of the man who was
recently elected our president - a young black man
living the impossible dream of millions of young
Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to
ask him, "Just what country do you think you're
president of?"
In your studies, you surely must have read the
decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and
our institutions must necessarily be based upon and
embody the teachings of the Redeemer of man kind. It is
impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this
sense and to this extent our civilization and our
institutions are emphatically Christian."
Did your professors have
you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till
the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views
and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American
jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a
phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of
separation between church and state" was used to deny
some specific religious expression - contrary to
Jefferson' s intent with that statement?
Or, wait a minute . were
your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during
the 20 years you were a member of the Trinity United
Church of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is
that where you got the idea that " America is no longer
a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came
to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that "
America has been arrogant"?
Even if that's the
understandable explanation o f your damning of your
country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few
military officials trying their best to keep more
Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not
always living up to her ideals," how did you come up
with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be
"considered a Muslim nation"?
Is it because there are
some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be
good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300
million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that
make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?
Why are we not, then, a
"Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese
nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in
America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're
trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a
Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for
the latter, because our Constitution - and the success
of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our
Jewish brothers.
Have you stopped to think w
hat an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you
ever really spent much time in Iran? Even in Egypt? You,
having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim
school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call
to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation
founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and
living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall
Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the
cross" and "kill the infidel"?
It seems increasingly and
painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your
upbringing and questionable education than most
suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a
people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed
to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and
might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of
a country most Americans don't recognize.
Could it be you are a
president without a country?
Remember... Robert Gibbs scoffed at 400,000 signatures to
release President Obama's long form birth certificate.
We need at least 5,000,000 signatures for them to even pay
attention.
